Cheezy and the Crackers is a Reggae/Hip-Hop influenced Rock group based in New Jersey. In 2007 the band started out playing covers at local bars and clubs. During these shows they would showcase their original material which created a steadily growing following and fanbase in Southern NJ. The immense amount of positive feedback towards their original marterial motivated the band to record their debut album “Don’t talk about it, Be about it..”, which released in Spring 2011.
Armed with an arsenal of punk rock, reggae, and hip-hop influenced party tunes, Cheezy and the Crackers began to broaden their horizons by playing many types of shows, festivals, and private parties throughout NJ, PA and NY. As a result, the band had songs played on Internet Radio Stations in the U.S. and Europe as well as securing shows with artists and bands such as Less Than Jake, Badfish (Sublime Tribute), Juelz Santana, Cowboy Junkies, Young Steff, Young Leek and a headlining slot at the 2010 Treasure Coast Internantional Surfing Day Festival in Jupiter Beach, Florida. Wherever they go the Crackers are sure to sell out merchandise and make a ton of new fans and friends in the process!
Good luck, guys! You know, we love snack. It’s our favorite meal of the day. Maybe because snacks offer sooo many ways to incorporate bacon into a small package. Remember that Cher movie, Mermaids, where she played the mom who never cooked dinner, she just made appetizers? Best. Mom. Ever. We love standing over the kitchen sink, eating an afternoon snack to tide that 3p.m. Even better? Take it outside and make it a picnic, ladybugs optional.
