Google Paul Straun

6:00 am

Go ahead: look him up! Search as directed and you’ll find one Paul Straun, a fine musician building his fan base the new-fashioned way: via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the search engine so ubiquitous, its very name has become a verb.

Aside from being one savvy promoter, Mr. Straun is a promising young musician with a willingness to experiment in the studio. Give him a listen!

I sing about the heartbreaks, the good times and the confusing times we all deal with in life at one point..Follow ya boi!

Although we’re guessing the grammar cops would prefer that it read, Google “Paul Straun”, we absolutely love such a cheeky approach to self promotion. Why? Because it’s clever, it’s bold, and it’s kind of meta. This guy even got a job—and a whole lot of press—out of it. See? Marshall McLuhan was right.
