StickerGiant decided to participate in the Boulder County Wind initiative for wind renewable energy. After reviewing the costs and specifics of how much power we use we decided as a team to participate at 100% of our usage level which means that StickerGiant s now 100% powered by electricity from the wind farms of Wyoming. We are excited to be a part of this effort to build renewable energy infrastructure.

Do they provide dedicated power transmission lines from the wind farms to certain facilities? How is the electricity from wind power coming to StickerGiant?

No the power company does not provide dedicated power transmission. The power company agrees to build the capacity or buy the capacity from other companies of the power I use. In exchange for them doing this I pay about 20% more for my electricity. This is a program offered across Boulder County to businesses and individuals.
