WordPress Stickers

3:27 pm

Automatic makes WordPress. Automatic came to us to make stickers for the WordPress Community. I am a fan of WordPress and always wondered who did those stickers. I really wanted to be the one printing the WordPress stickers. In fact it really bothered me, since I am insanely competitive when it comes to stickers.

Yesterday I spotted a WordPress Sticker in the shop, actually 4 designs. I asked where they came from and I was informed that we had been printing them for months and they had been reordered many times. How I missed this is beyond me, but it happened and now I am so happy that we ARE printing the WordPress stcikers.

More About WordPress:

WordPress started in 2003 with a single bit of code to enhance the typography of everyday writing and with fewer users than you can count on your fingers and toes. Since then it has grown to be the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on hundreds of thousands of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day.

WordPress is an open source blog publishing application. WordPress is the official successor of b2\cafelog, developed by Michel Valdrighi. The name WordPress was suggested by Christine Selleck, a friend of lead developer Matt Mullenweg.

The problem with these stickers is that I’d never use them for fear of looking like a George W. Bush supporter! Yet I use and love Wordpress. New logo, please!!

  2. Ernie Oporto Says:

Yeah I guess the word Wordpress under the W would be easy to miss.

  3. Matt Says:

    We’re taking the W back.

Well, at least you weren’t looking at the wordpress stickers thinking “Who’s printing this crap; we could do it better!”
