Available Stock Types

White Gloss: For a semi-gloss appearance.

White Matte: For a flat appearance, excellent for labels to be written on or typed on. Correctability may be limited on some typewriters.

Fluorescent: A bright Dayglo™ matte paper available in red, orange, chartreuse, pink, green, blue and purple. Printing in dark colors is recommended for high contrast.

Foil: Has a shiny metallic finish, available in gold and silver. This is a paper foil used for indoor use only.

White Vinyl: Durable, weather-resistant material can be used indoors or outdoors as well as in some harsh environments. Available in white or yellow.

Clear Vinyl: A durable, weather-resistant material that appears nearly clear when applied. We recommend printing white ink behind the image area for greater readability. Adhesive is available on either the front (face) or the back, depending on the viewing direction.

Clear Polypropylene: A 2-mil clear film stock for indoor use.

Static Cling Vinyl: This Clear or White Vinyl has a static charge that allows it to stick without adhesive to most smooth, clean surfaces such as glass, plastic or baked-enamel finishes. Leaves the surface clean when removed or repositioned. Clear Static Cling stock is available with static on the front (face) or back. White Static Cling stock is available with static on the back.

Polyester: A highly durable synthetic film used primarily for outdoor applications involving high levels of abrasion or abuse. Polyester will stand up longer in a moist environment and is resistant to most oils and solvents. For added durability we laminate some polyester decals at no additional charge. Available in white, chrome, brushed chrome and gold. Fluorescent inks not available.

Thermal: Thermal Transfer and Direct Thermal stocks are guaranteed to be compatible with leading printers and scales. Stock activates at 185°F. The ultra-smooth surface and special adhesives allow excellent scanning and instant adherence to corrugated boxes and shrink-wrap film.

Piggyback: These labels are on two liners so the top label can be removed and re-applied to another surface. Piggyback labels are available in blanks for peel-off address labels or custom-printed. Ask for details and prices. Also available in the popular "IRS size".

Laser and Inkjet: For laser and inkjet printers. A wide variety of matte stocks are available.

Tag: Non-pressure-sensitive in a variety of stocks from polystyrene and thermal transfer to paper and HDPE.

Ultra Decals - Ultra removable adhesive adheres better than static and removes just as easily. Better than Static!

Brown Kraft Paper with permanent adhesive is used when a natural look of paper is desired. The unique color and texture of this unbleached material really gets noticed and make it a great choice for product labeling.

Adhesives at Work

Permanent adhesive is supplied unless you request otherwise. This is a general purpose adhesive appropriate for most applications.

Removable adhesive will allow the label to be taken off once it is applied without leaving pieces of the label behind. Note, however, that a label will become permanent over time or with exposure to weather.

Temporary adhesive allows the label to be removed and reapplied with no residue on a wide variety of surfaces. This adhesive will remain temporary throughout its product life. This product is not recommended for use on fabrics.

Opaque adhesive obscures the application surface so it doesn't "show through" the label stock. This is useful if you are using a label to cover erroneous or outdated information, or if the surface color could affect the appearance of the label. The opaque adhesive might slightly affect the appearance of ink color and requested color matches.

White Gloss with Freezer Grade adhesive is used when the environment or product you are labeling is below 50°F. These have an application temperature down to -20°F.

Wide-temperature adhesive is designed to stick in very cold (to -65°F) and very hot (to 150°F) temperatures. This adhesive becomes permanent after 24 hours and will adhere to vinyl surfaces. Special order only for this adhesive.
