Parade of Darks Metro Caring

In the spirit of the Holiday season, dozens of breweries are coming together to support Metro Caring with the 5th Annual Parade of Darks, featuring craft beers from amber to black.

This Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. the holiday cheer will start spreading with tastings of over sixty plus beers available featuring seasonal and year-round. The dark-beer, holiday fest and fundraiser is taking place at the Turnhalle Room in the Tivoli Student Union which is located on the Auraria Campus in Denver, Colorado. The best part is 100% of the forty-five dollar ticket price goes directly to Metro Caring which helps provide a week of food to six hungry Coloradans.

So what is Metro Caring?
"As Denver's leading hunger-prevention organization on the front lines, Metro Caring meets people’s immediate need for food while also sustainably addressing the root causes of hunger and poverty. Using a multifaceted approach, Metro Caring is an innovative leader in addressing problems related to hunger, with programming offered in Healthy Foods Access, Nutrition/Gardening Education, and Self-Sufficiency."

To help promote this great cause, we printed up some amazing custom logo stickers for Metro Caring to get the word out. Their sticker design features three foaming over pints of beer with the year in the middle above the "Parade of Darks" copy with the Metro Caring logo placed at the bottom. The sticker itself is a custom shape around the logo design to make it stand out for those who slap it on when leaving the event.

Cheers to the Holidays and letting stickers spread great causes that help people out.

Voices For Children Casa

Not every child needs a superhero to protect them, sometimes all it takes is someone like Voice For Children CASA to step in.

Voices For Children CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, are on a mission to provide trained, court-appointed volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in Boulder County. Here's some background on their mission:
"Since 1985, Voices For Children CASA has been providing high quality advocacy and support to the child victims of abuse or neglect. As part of the National CASA movement in the late ’70s and into the ’80s, VFC was brought to life through the collaboration of the Junior League of Denver and the Boulder County Bar Association after they realized that children’s voices were not being heard in the court."

As part of their involvement in the community, Voices For Children CASA attends many local events. At this year's Longmont Pride, they brought along custom rainbow color logo stickers to hand out as part of the festivities.

It's great to see foundations out there that stand up for human rights and even better to see their impact and mission spread through custom stickers.

Ride With Hive

Public transportation is awesome.  In Salt Lake City, residents are using the Hive Pass program which makes transit more affordable and accessible.

So what exactly is the Hive Pass? It's a monthly pass that residents within the city limits of Salt Lake City can purchase to have unlimited access to all available public transportation. It makes it smooth and easy to jump on and off with no money or tickets exchanging hands.

So why use the Hive Pass?
"Salt Lake City residents want more ways to get around, whether by bus, train or bike.  More people riding transit is good for everyone, lightening the loads of car travel in our neighborhoods, cleaning the air, and reducing household costs for transportation. "

Even if you do not live in Salt Lake City, there are a lot of good public transit programs in cities across America. However, not all have such cool branding like "Hive Pass." It is a honeycomb like shaped design with their name and Salt Lake City logo down in the bottom center of the design. They printed up custom stickers for people to represent their use of public transit and to promote the program to more residents.

Create some buzz and get on board with stickers to get your new programs and brand out in the world.

The Sunrise Stampede's Big 30

Longmont Sunrise Stampede

The sun will rise tomorrow on the 30th annual Longmont Sunrise Stampede. The stampede is a fun, family oriented run that helps support special needs students in the St. Vrain Valley School District.

The great part of the Longmont Sunrise Stampede is even if you aren't in 10k shape (few of us are), they have an option to do a run, or walk, 2 mile loop. This is great for families to bring their kids out in support of the community. The race has raised nearly $200,000 for St. Vrain Students and is a great local tradition.

The course gives a great view of Longmont, Colorado with the starting line in the center of town near Longmont High School and looping all the way out to the western edge around McIntosh Lake and back again. There are also some cash prizes and giveaways for top finishers in different age groups.

Enjoy the Colorado weather tomorrow and get outside and run. Don't forget to grab an awesome, color logo sticker to commemorate the experience!
