WordCamp Albuquerque 2013 Custom Sticker Sheet

WordCamp Custom Sticker Sheet - Albuquerque

StickerGiant proudly supports the WordPress community and the WordCamp mission. We've printed thousands upon thousands of stickers for WordCamps over the years, and this custom sticker sheet for the 2013 Albuquerque event is a knockout.

There are three event-specific stickers on the sheet, with two single color event logos (black and spicy mustard), a multi-color event logo, and a black WordPress stamp, along with our infamous and infinitely flaming StickerGiant logo.

Our fully digital workflow makes printing custom sticker sheets like this a snap, by combining a full gamut of color with intricate die-cutting ability. You dream it. We do it.

Upcoming WordCamps include:

  • Wroclaw, Poland - September 28-29

  • Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden, The Netherlands - October 5-7

  • Toronto, Ontario - October 5-6

  • Louisville, KY - October 12

  • Boston, MA - October 25-27

WordCamps are rockin' all over the world ...

WordPress Born In Texas

WordCamp Texas

WordCamp Texas?

That's a nice sticker. Iconography, typography, color. I initially thought this was a WordCamp Texas sticker, except a peek at WordCamp Central says there's no Texas WordCamp, but instead an Austin, Dallas and maybe a Houston edition. So I'm gonna take this as another in the series of WordPress narrative-building stickers for the big interactive festival that is held every year in Austin, South By South West, (SXSW). It's hard not to see that logo as a brand after seeing this sticker, and by brand I mean in the old-fashioned, seared-cattle-flesh thing. And it's so big it's nearly bursting through Texas' borders. That's some sass ya got there, WordPress!

Google Affiliate Network

Google Affiliate Network

Google Affiliate Network

You may have heard of this thing Google. Right? Did you know that they do ads? Really, that's news to you? Really?

See, that's called a paper strawman in rhetoric, or a false flag attack in comedy. Everyone knows that Google places lots of ads – they're like number one in the world or something. And you can get Google ads on your own website if you sign up. I guess that's what the Google Affiliate Network is for.
Google Affiliate Network connects advertisers and publishers who want to increase sales and drive leads through affiliate marketing.

As an advertiser using Google Affiliate Network, you'll discover pre-screened publishers who can refer consumer traffic to you. As a publisher, you can market your site to advertisers in the network; if selected to participate in an advertiser's program, you'll earn a percent of sales or a referral bounty.

Okay, maybe not. But it surely has something to do with advertising. I know it's not the same as Google Adwords because my website already got rejected from that for not being "finished" or something. I guess if it was "finished" I could sign up for the Google Affiliate Network. Well, anyway, they printed a nice set of stickers with StickerGiant.  Maybe I can get one of those.

Content Rules

Content Rules

Content Rules

Content Rules is a book about how this blog is an abject failure. Basically. Here's what they say:
Produce great stuff, and your customers will come to you. Produce great stuff, and your customers will share your story for you. More than ever before: Content is king! Content rules!

Of course, like many things in life: That bit of luck comes with a hitch. Content may rule, but your online content must be the right sort of content:  Customer-focused. Authentic. Compelling. Remarkable. Interesting. (Gripping, even.) Valuable.

The problem, of course, is that it’s a struggle to actually do it. What does it mean to create content that’s “compelling”? And how can you do it consistently? How can your be heard above the noise? Why doesn’t your blog have any comments? It’s hard work, right?

That’s where this book comes in. This book demystifies the idea of organizations as publishers. It streamlines the process of creating remarkable blogs, podcasts, webinars, ebooks, and other web content that will lure would-be customers to you. It walks you through the fundamentals of how to create bold stories, videos, and blog posts. And then, once you’ve created the content, it tells you how to share it widely online to cultivate fans, arouse passion for your products or services, and ignite your business.

I don't know nothin' 'bout igniting passions, ma'am; I'm just a blogger. Those people who wrote the book sure look like nice folks though. They're Ann Handley and C.C. Chapman. Go buy their book and ignite something.

WordCamp Phoenix

Well, I've said before that you can't stop StickerGiant from sponsoring great events, and what did the home office do but to sponsor WordCamp Phoenix when I wasn't looking! It was a big event, spread out over the days from Wednesday, Jan. 26th to Sunday, Jan. 30th. You can see the tweetstream from the event at #wcphx or just the StickerGiant-related tweets if you want. By all accounts it was a big success. Congratulations to all involved.
