Dayton Startup Week 2016

Entrepreneurs gather in the birthplace of aviation

For the week ahead, the city of Dayton, Ohio, plays host to Dayton Startup Week 2016.

It's fitting that the two once home to the Wright Brothers and now featuring the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where scientists and engineers at the Air Force Research Laboratories are developing the latest in aerospace technology, would be a hub of entrepreneurial activity.

Dayton Startup Week from September 9th to the 16th features nine tracks ranging across the disciplines of design & development, food & beverage, funding & finance, marketing, mentoring, partner event, social/networking, startup your startup, talent & culture, and technology. With sessions and speakers that aim to inspire and educate, there will be no shortage of lessons and networking, and we are proud to supply the iconic Startup Week stickers that features the classic snow globe and cityscape of Ohio's sixth-largest town known locally as "Gem City."

Longmont Startup Week 2016

It's the second annual Longmont Startup Week, right here in our backyard and hometown. This six-day extravaganza is packed with stories of startup struggles and successes, entrepreneurs forging ideas into reality, outstanding learning and networking opportunities and, of course, fun! Attendance is FREE at 70+ community events and 95 speakers, including keynotes, talks, panel discussions, mentoring, adventures and more.

For Longmont Startup Week we printed up custom stickers featuring the classic Startup Week snow globe, but with a twist: there's a heart-shaped balloon soaring over our majestic twin peaks of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker, two of Rocky Mountain National Park's tallest summits. A nice mix of blues makes for an iconic sticker for all event attendees to sport.

We are embracing the community by getting involved with a couple things, including Saul the World's Largest Sticker Ball making an appearance.

After Hours Event @ 300 Suns Brewing

Saul will be posting up at 300 Suns on Tuesday from 5pm - 8pm, so stop by to grab a sticker, put your sticker on him, or just marvel at the Guinness World Record for the Largest Sticker Ball. Also, drink tasty craft beer and connect with other entrepreneurs,

Detroit Startup Week 2016

The Motor City is popping off with entrepreneurial energy this week, as they celebrate Detroit Startup Week 2016.

We're still riding high after last week's Boulder Startup Week and Denver's Startup Weekend, plus the scores of other recent sponsorships (you'll notice a theme, loyal readers), but we all know that Detroit is in for five days of a unique community experience.

For new readers, Startup Week is a new type of conference that builds momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship, led by entrepreneurs and hosted in the entrepreneurial spaces they love. The energy is tangible, and the results of the week are a reflection of a community's hard work and entrepreneurial identity.

This year's tracks (knowledge sessions) are organized around the following themes: Art+Design, Civic Innovation, Entrepreneur 101, Food-Preneurship, IoT (Internet of Things), Mobility, Music, Social Entrepreneurship, Tech, and Marquee Events (stuff like the keynote, closing party and Chase-sponsored talks and Basecamps). It will prove to be rewarding and invigorating for all attendees and organizers. We say this because we know, but if you're within a day's drive of these events, they are worth it and you should go soak up all of the information and networking that await.

Live from Ignite Boulder 29

StickerGiant is always on board for sponsoring community events all around the country, and we are proud to be a long-time sponsor of Ignite Boulder. On Thursday night May 19th, as part of Boulder Startup Week, we'll be at the Boulder Theater live streaming from the @IgniteBoulder Periscope account and Ignite Boulder Facebook Live account for Ignite Boulder 29. We love the funny and ironic name tags that we print on our kiss cut stickers for each event.

Since it's Boulder Startup Week, and as is tradition, Ignite Boulder helps round out the week-long, community centered event that has taken over this growing mountainside enclave. If you are around Boulder, and you didn’t grab a ticket, you can put your name on the waitlist here.

Not sure what an Ignite talk means? It's a night of presentations on a variety of topics – with a twist. Each presentation has 20 slides, that automatically advance after 15 seconds. It is a worldwide movement, and Boulder hosts the largest in the world every 2 or 3 months. Check out some of the archived videos on their YouTube page. Below watch a playlist of the talks from the December Ignite Boulder 28.

It's worth the wait to check out one of Boulder’s top live community-run events. You can follow the action on Twitter, or one of the live streams.

Sponsorship Desk: 2016 PHX Startup Week

Sponsored Stickers PHX Startup Week 2016

PHX Startup Week, a TechStars event, is a week-long showcase of technology and community. We sponsored this event last year, and we're happy to be back supporting Arizona's entrepreneurs with quality stickers. This year's version is the classic Startup Week snow globe complete with cactus in a die-cut tear-off, which works perfect on a laptop or tablet.

"PHX Startup Week, started by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, is a week-long, Valley-wide showcase and celebration of Arizona’s entrepreneur community. Started in 2015, our shared mission is to serve current and future Arizona entrepreneurs with quality content and meaningful connections."

Chase is sponsoring with #ChaseBasecamp locations all over town, and the schedule is packed with great speakers and fellow sponsors. Use the #PHXStartupWeek hashtag to be seen.
