Every family gathering Shandell and her sister will make Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers. They make for a delicious appetizer and can make everyone laugh if someone ends up eating a really spicy popper. The games she picked have become part of her family’s holiday tradition. Every year they bring a new game to add to the fun. This year Shandell is introducing her family to Throw Throw Burrito. They always have an entertaining time and will rotate through games for hours.

½ cup cream cheese

½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

12 jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed.

(Tip: Wear gloves when cutting and handling jalapeños)

12 slices of bacon

Preheat oven to 400º F (200º C).

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Mix cream cheese and cheddar cheese together in a bowl until evenly blended.

Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.

Put halves back together and wrap each stuffed pepper with a slice of bacon. (Push a toothpick through the top to hold everything together).

Arrange bacon-wrapped peppers on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes, or until bacon is crispy.
