2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor in Finishing / Shipping

The Manufacturing Supervisor (2nd Shift) - Shipping/Finishing coordinates day-to-day activities of a manufacturing team to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Manufacturing Supervisor - Shipping/Finishing will oversee the Shipping and Finishing group, which includes shipping, sheeting, and finishing manufacturing specialists. You are passionate about process improvements and increasing quality while also growing and recognizing individual team members. You are the eyes and ears of the team and you remain committed to removing obstacles to drive great team performance. Lastly, you will assist in the completion of evening work to set your team up for success for the next days' work.



  • Support Director of Manufacturing by overseeing people/team of your designated manufacturing group
  • Coordinate team schedules, support and effective practices for manufacturing workflow    
  • Oversee quality standards and overall quality process for all products
  • Instrumental in executing talent development plans through the implementation of a skills matrix
  • Develop a cross-training schedule and development outcomes for each team member
  • Maintain a high degree of visibility, access and open communication with all team members
  • Apply lean-based tools and best practices to guide continuous improvement projects
  • Prioritize important issues and collaborate with Director of Manufacturing on solutions related to internal workflows, process, product quality and personnel
  • Model core values of being all in for the greater good of StickerGiant, competent, and positive energy
  • Handle conflict in a thoughtful, forthright and timely manner  
  • Support the development of each team member through training, coaching and mentoring
  • Assist with oversight of inventory control for all products, raw materials, and supplies for the manufacturing delivery team
  • Support the manufacturing leadership team with resolving issues related to material, delivery, quality, process, and employee performance

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing or lean manufacturing tools preferred
  • Six Sigma Certification preferred



  • Completion of High School education or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1-2 years direct team/people leadership experience

  • Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 hours
  • Able to use a computer, keyboard, phone
  • Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, and fine hand manipulation
  • Visual acuity at short distances - able to detect variances in orders and cut marks
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, bending and overhead reaching



  • Full-time exempt position
  • Monday - Friday (40-45 hours/week)
  • 2nd Shift hours include: 12pm-9pm (includes 1-hour break) or 1pm-9pm (no break)

Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually
