Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is an expert facilitator who helps discover solutions for stakeholders.  You are the key interface between the internal users and the IT team to gather information, document processes, and confirm the final user requirements.  You are an analytical thinking and observer who can define business needs and extract the requirements for what must be delivered. Your natural analytical thinking and strength as a communicator helps you explain difficult concepts to users.  You are a whiz at writing clear requirements and creating data models, process diagrams and design wireframes that will further support the business’ needs. You have a keen sense for what key details are missing and the potential impacts and challenges to the solution.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions

  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies

  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings

  • Perform requirements analysis

  • Document and communicating the results of your efforts

  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

Procurement and Facilities Specialist

 

The Procurement and Facilities Specialist is responsible for overseeing the cost-effective procurement of supplies, raw materials and equipment, inventory management, and receiving activities for StickerGiant. You will create systems and strategies to manage raw materials and all facility supplies including a standard procurement process and maintaining data accuracy.  This position requires cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Production, Customer Success, Finance, IT, and Operations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Guide through the different phases of the procurement and materials management effort: sourcing and vendor selection, RFP preparation, technical and economical evaluation of proposals, issue of purchase orders, contract administration, evaluation of vendors performance, materials receiving, inspection and validation of material quality standards

  • Clearly and concisely communicate inventory shortages which could cause down-stream production issues

  • Manage current supplier relationships to ensure reliable and positive working partnerships and effective/efficient communication

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes that add value and reduce costs

  • Gather data from outside resources to analyze market and historic data

  • Assess gaps of current inventory management and/or material management practices; identify and recommend software tools for use at StickerGiant

  • Create data models and systems for the management of raw materials and facility supplies 

  • Document all internal processes and workflow diagrams including methodology for vendor selection, contract management, materials management and supply chain 

 

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field is a plus; not required 

  • 1-3 years experience in vendor relations, supply chain, material procurement

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, lean production tools or Lean Six Sigma preferred

  • Experience with procurement or supply chain process improvement

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY 

  • Understand procurement material management principles

  • Understand the dynamics of supply chain management principles

  • Very comfortable with Spreadsheets or Excel, especially vlookup functions, pivot tables, and “if” statements

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and execute detailed work plans that support operational improvement

  • Experience in data gathering including the ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and influence external vendors and internal stakeholders

  • Professional and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines

  • Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment

Learning and Development Program Specialist

The Learning & Development Program Specialist has two of the most admired responsibilities at StickerGiant.  The first is to create and drive programs for employee professional development.  The second is to teach employees how to lead and run a successful business. You are a business and people geek who thrives with a strong leadership team who “get people” like you do.  Presenting and facilitating learning events are skills you have practiced ad nauseam. Your ability to put your fingerprint on a new program keeps you motivated and happy. You may have seen a large company L&D team (or a small one) and you know enough of the right pieces to call your own shots.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

LEARNING PROGRAM OVERSIGHT (90%)

  • Develop the long-term vision for employee learning practices at StickerGiant 

  • Use adult learning methods and instructional design principles to develop and implement learning programs in four key areas: 

    • Leadership development

    • Job training

    • Financial literacy

    • StickerGiant culture, business structure and practices  

  • Observe, listen, and consult with department leaders and employees to assess knowledge gaps 

  • Create policy, structure and reporting related to employee development initiatives

  • Identify outcomes and bottom-line impacts from employee development activities, regularly report back to leadership team

  • Collaborate with employees to create individual professional development plans and goals

  • Review, evaluate and modify existing learning resources

  • Evaluate new learning resources, learning consultants or learning platforms as desired

  • Obtain feedback from participants throughout learning events to foster continuous improvement

 

PEOPLE & CULTURE SUPPORT (10%)

  • Collaborate with People Director on other activities such as annual surveys, benefits, onboarding, culture projects, recruiting, employee rewards and recognition  

 

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, English or related degree 

  • 5+ years developing and delivering learning programs for employees for a for-profit organization (public or private)

  • Proven ability to create simple, scalable organizational processes

  • Leadership experience preferred, not required

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

  • Experience creating organizational-level learning strategy including a clear vision, goals, processes and outcomes

  • Technology

    • Proficiency in Google Docs and/or MS Office products

    • Administrator-level experience with learning management systems (LMS)

  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices and trends for adult learning 

  • Budget forecasting, planning and good financial stewardship 

  • Passion for helping others grow

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels of an organization, especially the influencing others
