Bella Vista Fire & EMS takes care of the citizens and guests of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and this weekend they are celebrating 50 years of top-flight care and protection for this little pocket of the Ozark region with some custom shaped promotional stickers.
It is the mission of the Bella Vista Fire Department to serve their community with professionalism, integrity and pride through rapid response, the highest quality of care and conservation of life and property. They do this to ensure a safe and healthy community for the present and future residents of their town. The team has a proud history and legacy of service that started as a volunteer organization. They have an amazing write up of their growth on their website, which you have to check out.
They are asking all folks to make plans to drop in to Fire Station 1 at Town Center this Friday, September 20th to celebrate 50 years of fire service in Bella Vista. They'll be cooking up burgers and hot dogs from noon till two, and the team will be around till 6 p.m. offering equipment demos, information on programs we offer, a kid's obstacle course, fire extinguisher training and more.
Fire Chief Steve Sims and Deputy Fire Chief Bryan Wolfgang command a staff of one Division Chief over training, one fire inspector, three administrative personnel and firefighters who also serve as medical personnel — either licensed EMTs or paramedics. A battalion chief and three captains command each of the three shifts. The city uses state-of-the-art fire apparatuses, including a 75-foot ladder truck and Class A pumpers, and medical personnel operate six ambulances within the city. The department’s focus remains the citizens of Bella Vista, and their health and safety. They strive to assist residents by providing information and offering educational opportunities, making Bella Vista the ideal place to call home.
They printed up a few die cut stickers to commemorate this occasion. There's large and small fire shields in bright yellow with the BV logo, and then a big square sticker that has a really nice design with the numeral 50 in big type, and the zero holding the fire crest. The word YEARS has AR in bright red, because they're a fire department and it calls attention to Arkansas where they call home. This mix of products makes for plenty of applications for their fans, and a way to celebrate for 50 more years of serving the community.
